Anyone who’s been to Barcelona has likely stopped to admire the stunning Casa Batlló, and those who haven’t, have probably seen its forms and colourful façade. In 2026, to mark the centenary of Gaudí’s death, the building will open its second floor to the public for the first time, transformed into a contemporary art gallery. The 230 m² space will host two exhibitions a year, starting with “Beyond the Façade” by United Visual Artists (UVA), an immersive installation exploring light, movement, and perception, including a new video mapping on the façade itself. This initiative beautifully bridges Gaudí’s timeless vision with today’s language of digital art and innovation.
