What does it really mean to be an artist in 2026? The answer is changing faster than ever.

Today, artists have more ways than ever to create, share their work, and connect with people around the world. But being an artist is no longer only about making artworks, it also means telling stories, building a personal identity, and finding new ways to communicate.

One of the biggest questions of our time is the role of artificial intelligence. AI can now generate images, sounds, and texts in seconds, creating exciting opportunities but also making us wonder: what makes a creation truly human? Who is the author? Where does creativity begin?

Understanding these changes is important not only for artists, but for anyone who lives in today’s visual world. The way we create, look at, and value images is transforming, and artists are often the first to explore these changes.

Maybe the role of the artist in 2026 is not to create faster than machines, but to remind us of something technology cannot replace: personal experiences, emotions, memories, and a unique way of seeing and interpreting the world.
